paulotta by wiemeer
For more than five years, wiemeer has stood for cozy after-surf hangouts in your surf ponchos, which we produce sustainably, by hand, and on request. Since then, some accessories have also been able to accompany you through your everyday life. But time flies, and both you – our loyal customers – as well as ourselves and our closest circle of friends and acquaintances grow and mature with the times, and with it, everyone's living conditions. I recently became an aunt myself, as well as a godmother twice over. This has led me to completely new sewing projects that have presented me with some challenges and given me some headaches: "boys' packages," "girls' packages"... I've repeatedly asked myself whether these concepts aren't outdated these days. So, I want to take a stand against precisely that – I want to create beautiful, handmade clothing for the very little ones to give them the most comfortable start in life possible. They should be unisex and made from sustainable and high-quality fabrics to ensure only the best touches your little ones' skin.
And so paulotta was born. It's named after my two favorite babies, Paul and Lotte, who were the first to be dressed by me. The clothes are meant to express what the name promises—sweet, cheeky, and gender-neutral clothing. I'm excited to now be able to dress your little ones, too—whether as a gift for your loved ones or for your own little one. Have fun with them!
